Put the jerry built fuel heater AFTER the expensive fuel pump
summit racing rule.
85 PSI fuel pressure ?!?!?!
that will feed oil in to a big engin for sure.
I hope PSI like that wont blow out the injectore pump.
I am considering making my timemasheen ultra low tek with brass ball valve fuel switching in stead of solonoid.
spent a whole day (travelling to) at the scarbourough scrap yard and never found any switching solonoids,
waiting on a price quote from a brass manufacturer before buying the ebay version.
also: I have enuff hose to make a heated water bed for my time masheen.
everything is on ebay.
I need to get a blow torch anyways.
cheap valves. not sure wut to do with the 1"
will buy them if i can figure out pay pal defore bidding ends in 6 hours.
I think the 85psi fuel pressure is to counter the pressure drops, some created by kinks in the line, but mostly caused by the fuel line filtration system. I don't think it's supposed to be fed straight to the engine. As for substituting the solenoids, ball valves do tend to be on the stiff side, I suppose a cable system would work well provided that you have a good amount of leverage...
